Discussion "But isn't President Bush fighting for Christian values?"The focal issue isn't whether or not he's fighting for Christian value, but whether or not he's bearing fruits for the Lord. If President Bush lets it be known that he's being led by the Lord, yet fails to bear fruit or even bears bad fruit, isn't he actually doing disservice to the Lord's name? And to what extent has President Bush been fighting for Christian values? Can you name one Christian initiative that President Bush conceived and led? If not, can you name one Christian values initiative on which he at least supported other Christian leaders when they needed help? When Mayor Gavin Newsom began to marry gay couples in San Francisco, President Bush said he was "troubled" by it, then did nothing. "Troubled?" As a Christian, he should have been "Outraged" and condemned it in the strongest terms. President Bush flew across the world to surprise our troops in Baghdad and boost their morale. Couldn't he have crossed a few state-lines to surprise and encourage the Christians camped in front of the Ten Commandments monument in Alabama? Wouldn't all of us have been electrified if he had dropped by and just shaken Chief Justice Roy Moore's hand once? Pastors across the country preach their hearts out about the encroachment of Islam in America, how the number of mosques in the country has grown from 30 in 1990 to over 3,000 today. Why did President Bush go to mosques and praise Islam, even declaring that Muslims and Christians worship the same God? Allah has no place for the deity of Jesus, hence is not our God.
