The Bush Administration actually chose to hurt the country's intelligence operations to execute a political revenge.

Alberto Gonzalez, the nation's top attorney went before the US Senate and under oath to God, suddenly developed a severe case of amnesia about his actions, while Paul Wolfowitz, a man with no banking experience whom the Bush Administration appointed to head the World Bank, was caught giving his girlfriend $190,000 a year from funds intended to help the world's poor. Yet the Bush Administration expresses confidence in both men.

Do we have to wait until an administration leaves power to call its cronyism, cronyism?
